A collector of old songs, his performances blend delicate banjo and guitar work with a deep reverence for roots music.

Coal Basin Ranch is open seasonally from dawn to dusk and features 8 miles of purpose-built mountain biking and hiking trails located at the former Mid-Continent Coal & Coke processing site. The vision for Coal Basin Ranch is to use mountain bike trails to help rehabilitate the heavily impacted landscape and promote healthy lifestyles, giving people a place to connect with nature through outdoor recreation. Trail use is free and open to the public.
